These days grow very dark, as evil becomes more blatant. No more is it hidden, but lives among us freely, especially if given passage into our homes. From politics to what we see upon the world's stage, fear is increasing and it seems that there is no remedy. But, in all this there is the shining lighthouse of Christ that has overcome it all. It is He who burns bright in these dying days that is bringing us and the unsaved alike, like moths to a flame. I can trust Him, and in this raging storm, He has given me unfathomable peace.
Christ has truly overcome this world, because His light burns through the heavy darkness of life. It is He who will find you, and stand you upon a solid rock. I know, because He has done it for me many times over.
Centuries ago, on an old Roman cross the Source of our strength hung in agony. From ruthless, brutal pain came endless hope, and after three days buried brought, resounding victory over death, hell, and Satan himself.
