Romans 2:11
What is partiality? It is to be biased towards someone or something to the detriment or downgrading of others. Webster’s says favoring one person or faction over another. That pretty well sums it up. So when the passage says there is no partiality with God, what does that mean? It means that regardless of your wealth, stature in the community, good works, or prestige, God sees ALL of us exactly the same. He isn’t biased toward anyone, and no one gets more of God than anyone else. Considering how the world judges people and situations, isn’t it nice to know that God accepts us just as we are, without any bias, and treats us all the same, regardless of whatever we can or can’t do for Him?
