Persevere - ​ To continue doing something or trying to do something even though its is difficult.​
​ Scripture Reading :Hebrews 10:19-39 ​

A joyful perseverance can only be possible by fulling resting that God is who we trust and that He is Soverign.

If we are honest to ourselves we all can affirm that at one point or another, we dont tend to Persevere. ​[ We just dont want to continue ] that could be a marriage, carreer/profession, we all get to a place where we are tired and just want to give up on some of the precious people , things in our lives just because things arent going right. In some cases, it can be for a lengthy period of time [ could be years ]. Also that is when we come to a place where we get to choose
1. Give up our confidence - Is there still hope for this situation/ person?
2. Continue to Put our HOPE in JESUS - who is all-capable to turn things around as we trust him.

Everyone of us have areas in our life to press through... say that being Uncertainity, A difficult friend, Work,Marriage, Physical Sickness, Grief/ Pain from the past, Emotional healing, Overcoming sin. It sometimes can be very difficult to love our spouse, co-worker , a person who has caused pain. Sometimes in life we have to just endure the wrong things done by others , things that life throw at us - things that are unexplainable [ Like the extended sickness or delay in answer to our prayers ]. No person is exempt from the pains/ struggles/ challenges- Its just different from person-person.

So in all of this ups and downs of life there is Just one things that remains CONSTANT - That is the unconditional Love of God through His Son Jesus Christ.

Without Hope we become depressed,we find no meaning or purpose.But the real question is in whom and where is our Hope in ? Is our Hope on our - Job or BOSS at work ,Spouse /Children/Family - to satisfy our physical and emotional needs money or is it on what we think is our strengths or ability to perform a task?
Sooner or later we get to place we realize the fact that all these are going to fail us as we are all humans. [ Psalms 20:7 ] Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Let us therefore continue put our Faith and HOPE in our Saviour Jesus who is Faithful , Unchangeable. Take a moment to think about when you first put your faith in God as the scripture -

Hebrews 10:32
​​ Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering.

Hebrews 10:35-36 " So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Though its seems to be difficult to continue, let us seek the help of God through His Holy Spirit to fill us with Hope . Let us just consider to examine where we put our hope in and open ourselves to God to fill us with Faith & confidence in our most difficult places of our everyday life.
