Psalms 34:19; John 16:33
Everyday we are facing different kinds of uncertainties and troubles in life. May it be a loss(death of a loved ones), adversities (sickness, accidents, calamities), grief due to loneliness caused by heartbreak, abuse, abandonment and just being alone without someone to love and loves you in return. That's why the Lord said "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). The good news is all these tribulations, adversities, sorrows and pains are just temporary. Soon they will pass from our lives but we should remember that we were able to come out of all these messes of life not because of our own abilities but because of what the Lord Jesus Christ assured us that He overcome the world. Even though we are doomed to experience hardships and struggles every now and then during our lifetime. . . "the Lord will come to our rescue each time we face troubles" (Psalms 34:19) because "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).
