I have found myself reflecting a lot this year compared to where I was 10 years ago. 10 years ago I was going through a major depression, nervous breakdowns, and other health issues. Even though I still struggle with some of these issues and everyday is a fight for me I am in better shape than I was in 2006. I choose to always continue to have a positive attitude about things. I am so grateful and blessed for all that God has blessed my family with. This time of year can be hard for many people. A time that should be filled with joy and peace, some find themselves struggling with sadness because of loss of loved ones or difficult times in their life. I know that was some of the contributing factors for myself in 2006. Since then I have always wanted to find a way to help others in some way. Mostly so far it seems to be in the form of encouragement. Other times it is in monetary or materialistic help my heart wants to do more, sometimes the pocketbook don't go as deep as my heart does as with everyone else's intentions I'm sure. I wanted to share how I try to help encourage people. I don't really like doing this on a public level but I have decided that if it is on this kind of level maybe it can help reach a broader audience and maybe help even more people. This day in time I think we need Jesus and encouragement more than ever right now. This is my way of encouragement here and try to help the world.
To whom it may concern: I just wanted to sit down and write a letter to you. Whatever you maybe going through right now. You may be feeling like there is no hope and you may even feel like no one cares. JESUS CARES! Whatever tough time or situation you are going through it will get better. If you have to hold on to family, faith, or even just your own strength. Just hold on. I was once in your situation. I felt no matter how hard my husband and I worked or tried it would never get better. We got through our situations and others do too. You can make it also. YES!, this world is a tough thing and sometimes hard, but it gets better. I hope you have a blessed day. Whenever you are going through a hard time and you feel like it is your darkest hour and your lowest point in life. Remember that day for the rest of your life. When you remember this day and look back and realize I got through that God was with me the whole time. Just remember I got through that and any day after that will be better than your worst.
Love, ME :)
