Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior came to save us that we may live with him in eternity. Therefore, do not fear for tomorrow. We can be confident that God is with us and he gives us the strength to live for him. “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation” (Hab 3:17,18).

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
