Psalm 23:1, NKJV
Self-help books abound. Which author will lead me down the right path?
There is a book; and, particularly the Author of the book, who changes the hearts and lives of those who read and receive its life-changing message…turning them around completely for the better.
Who will you follow? Who will be your shepherd?
I once heard it said that if you have the wrong shepherd, you will always be in want. And if you are always in want, there is no fulfillment, satisfaction or rest.
But with the right shepherd to guide, lead and direct one’s life, there is no want.
In Psalm 23:1, NKJV, we read, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
The Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all, the Savior who came to personally give to all who believe in him salvation from eternal death and abundant life now and forever…this is my Shepherd. Therefore, I have all I need.
And that includes direction for being all He has created and designed me to be…and He will help me achieve it.
So, when I meet the Author, Jesus Christ, and accept him as my personal Savior and Lord ~ my Shepherd ~ I have found all I need as declared in Psalm 23.
No other book can compare.
No other shepherd will do. Selah
