Normally, I place my dollar store spinners in the flower bed in the front yard, but this year I put them on the backyard fence so that I can enjoy them when I porch-sit. How fast they turn depends on the wind, but their ability to withstand the wind depends on how well I have secured them to the fence for the wind will not have an effect on the fence. And so it is with me.
I have heard it said that “God is the constant in a world of shifting breezes and continual change.” My Lord never changes (Hebrews 13:8); therefore, I will stay anchored in Him. So, winds of my life, blow on!
