Psalms 69:29 and Psalms 70:4
Dear Lord, that day at Calvary, you set my Spirit free - your death upon that cross saved me from eternal loss.
That day at Calvary, you did everything for me. So how can I lament, when things don't go to my intent? How can I complain, when along with sunshine comes the rain?
When my heart is heavy and sad, you are the one who makes me glad. When life gets hard, and joy seems lost; I remember what my salvation cost.
How can there be lamentation, in the face of so great a salvation?
