Today, I’m a citizen of that community of people who feel the need to be on some kind of diet or quest to get lean. I have cut back on bread, sweets, pasta, and portions and I am achieving the desired results. I am thirty pounds leaner. It's a good look for my body!

They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel, But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested God in the desert. And He gave them their request, But sent leanness into their soul.

But I’m also a citizen of the Kingdom and in that community I want to be enormously fat with thankfulness, over stuffed with the sweeter than honey taste of the Word, and I want to always have a supersized appetite for the Bread of Life. Because, in the Kingdom, leanness is not a good look for my soul!
