Though the land had been occupied by a multitude of hostile enemies which outnumbered the Israelites, Joshua led them to conquer all of the surrounding enemies' territory that God had promised them. They were risk takers who believed the Lord and they came out big winners because the Lord kept his promises to them. Many of us like to remain in safe and comfort zones, but Yeshua wants us to be risk takers and not cede anything to our enemy. When Yahweh promises us anything - money, health, peace, careers, ministry, holiness, joy, etc., we should go for broke trying to retrieve it. We will come out big winners, for everything he promises will come to pass because he cannot fail. Be a risk taker for the Lord, and like the Israelites under Joshua's command conquered all of the surrounding enemies' territory, conquer all of the enemy's territory that surrounds your life! You are a winner because Christ is a winner!
