In my morning reading and meditation, I read the last part of Isaiah 55: 6-7 The Message Bible, and I began to repeat these verses. Seek God while he’s here to be found,
pray to him while he’s close at hand.
Let the wicked abandon their way of life
and the evil their way of thinking.
Let them come back to God, who is merciful,
come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness. The Holy Spirit said, "insert your name". What Lord, you mean by wicked and evil? I was quickly reminded of what my pastors have said in church, "Anything that is against God's Word is a sin!" If you look up the word sin, BAM! There is evil/wickedness as synonyms for sin. We do not want to identify ourselves as being evil and wicked, but TRUTH, we all have done some evil or wicked things in our lives, and if we could have, we would have tried to hide them from God. However, the bible verses (God's instructions) says, let the wicked and the evil ABANDON their way of life and thinking. Let evil and wicked COME BACK to God, who is merciful and He is lavish with forgiveness. Some may ask, how do I come back? Well, just SEEK GOD, ask for forgiveness for your sin(s) and don't be about "THAT LIFE and thinking", invite the Lord, Jesus Christ into your life, pray, and study/meditate on His Word. Glory to God!!! Let us follow God's instructions so that we can get God's results!!!
