Mark 8:36
I've heard it said, that we should do all the things we want to do before we are pronounced "dead."
Others have heard it also, and decided to go to Acapulco, or write that long desired book, or like Juila Child, become a world renowned cook.
"Make every moment count," they say- "don't waste one second of the day"- "do all the things you wish you'd done with the final setting of life's golden sun."
And what are those things,I ask myself. What are the things I want to do before my life on earth is through? I can't think of a single thing that would make me want to hop a plane.
What if I don't go to some far-away land, or write that book, or build castles in the sand? It's not what you do, or where you go - it's how big is your soul?
