It is SO wonderful to sense the presence of the Lord in prayer, in a song, during a service at Church, or even while we are reading His Word. However, when a member of the Church, my Pastor, or a friend, comes or calls, there it is, that awareness that this is God with skin on. Many do not recognize when our God that loves us so dearly touches us through his body. Recently being home bound, not able to attend church, or visit dear friends, they have come to me. So thankful for their encouragement, my Pastor has been here on numerous occasions to visit and pray, our worship leader and dear friend brought material for our Church meeting, took the time to pray with me. Friends have messaged me on Facebook asking about me, caring for me with their words. That is God reaching out, comforting, reassuring me, and speaking to me. That’s God with skin on knocking on the door of our heart.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
