When the Prophet Samuel examined Jess’s sons in search of the next King of Israel, he was impressed with Eliab’s appearance and he said “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look as his appearance or physical stature, because I have refused him.

Will Beauty get me into Heaven?
If I provoke a million wondering eyes am I assured to get into Heaven? If I post a picture on Instagram or Facebook and get a million likes will Jesus choose me when HE returns? Scripture tells us that GOD never uses one’s outward appearance to determine beauty. When the Prophet Samuel examined Jess’s sons in search of the next King of Israel, he was impressed with Eliab’s appearance and he said “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look as his appearance or physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:6-7
