In 1876, the French began working to build the Panama Canal, but left it unfinished due to troubles and complications. America resumed, perfected, and finished the project in 1913 and rested from this labor because the works were complete. How foolish it would have been for the Americans to worry over this finished labor! Likewise, we are in an era, day, and stage of rest because Christ finished all of his works from the beginning of creation. So let there be no unrest in your life. Structure your life so that it reflects this God-ordained principle. Say to yourself repeatedly, I will rest in Christ because he has finished all works, including what appears to be unfinished and troubling in my life right now. Realize that nothing has been left incomplete, for not only has he completed all works, but he has also perfected everything that pertains to us and this universe! So enter into rest for Yeshua's works in your life were finished from the foundation of the world. Rest in him daily!
