Ezekiel 34:12 As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.
God has watched over the people of Israel through thousands of years. Even when He allowed them to be captured, there was always a faithful remnant which he protected and brought home to the land He'd promised.
The Lord's mercies and patience to this world are longstanding as he waits for people to recognize his love and come home to Him, just as Israel, over and over, repented and He opened blessing upon them. The light of God's love and the length of his forgiveness have covered many a broken man or woman. God reels in any person who falls to their knees and repents! It is we Christians who sometimes push sinners away!
HOPE is on the way! Jesus stands knocking at the door of our hearts! Be quick to invite him in.
Lord, may we as your followers, repent of pride and begin to love the world the way You do!
