Mark 4:35-41
Tossing and turning, with the wind and waves out of control all around them. It's no wonder the disciples behaved the way that they did. What they didn't realize was that they allowed their fear to cloud their revelation of who was sailing in the boat with them. Instead of them awakening the Master in faith they awoke him in fear because their eyes were on their
circumstances, rather than the promise that was made to them. They had the promise of the Master, when He said: "Let us pass over to the other side". The Master had already told them that they would make it to the other side.
In life when we face circumstances that seem it will overtake us. It is important to remember that the Master is with us, and that the promises He made to us will come to pass. Once the Master is in your ship, You can take a nap knowing that He is in control.
